The Home is Where The Art is exhibition will be at IKEA,Drury Way, until Friday and features works submitted by artists representing homlessness organisations in London.

The charity Café Art connects homeless Londoners with the wider community through art is providing the works.

All the artwork on display will be available for sale and all money raised will go directly to the artists.

Visitors can vote for their favourite pieces and IKEA will offer a cash prize to the top three, with £500 being awarded to the winner, £300 to second place and £200 to third.

Pedro Abreu, IKEA Wembley manager, said: “In previous years we have helped Café Art through the provision of frames to display the art at exhibitions across the capital. This year we wanted to support the excellent work of the charity furthermore and thought our restaurant would be the perfect location for one of their exhibitions. One of IKEA’s dreams is to create a better life for the many people. We hope that our support of this initiative will help provide the artists with further opportunities for their better life.”

The exhibition is part of a year-round roving display which is hung in venues around London.
